SAMSUNG fans are begging the phone-maker to bring back two beloved features.
The South Korean tech giant churns out millions of increasingly impressive smartphones each year – but users aren’t totally happy.
Phone owners have flocked to Reddit to plead with Samsung to revive two perks that have vanished from the company’s devices.
“Dear Samsung…Bring back the microSD card, please, and stop trying to copy Apple,” wrote one user whose post has earned nearly 900 “upvotes”.
They continued: “Being different from Apple and better is what we all want. You following their footsteps will just make you worse, like Apple.
“Also bring back the headphone jack.”
One fan added: “I don’t see why an Ultra device would not come with an SD card slot. Let us have SOMETHING.”
And another said: “I’ve literally been hanging on to my S10+ because of the Micro SD slot.”
Micro SD card slots allow you to expand the storage on your device.
They used to be far more common, but Andjroid phone makers have shied away from them in recent years.
Samsung’s last main Galaxy S device to feature an SD card slot was the Galaxy S20 in 2020.
But it disappeared from phones with the Galaxy S21 the next year.
Samsung also stopped including headphone jacks on Galaxy phones around the same time.
By contrast, Apple phones have never featured Micro SD card slots.
And Apple killed the 3.5mm headphone jack in 2017.
Samsung fans are now begging for the return of both features – but are skeptical that either feature would ever come back.
One Samsung fan said: “Headphone jack is 100% not coming back. MicroSD card is 99.999999% not coming back.”
Another replied: “These 2 things aren’t coming back. Sorry.”
