When the Mattel Adventure Park opens its doors in Glendale, Arizona next year, the beloved doll will be a prominent feature of the park’s attractions. Children and their parents will have the opportunity to enjoy Barbie’s beach and play inside her beach house, while another attraction will replicate her magical closet from the movie.
The theme park will also include other attractions based on popular Mattel properties such as Hot Wheels, Masters of the Universe, and Thomas & Friends. Julie Freeland, Senior Director of Global Location Based Entertainment at Mattel, expressed her excitement about the park, stating, “Mattel Adventure Park is an incredible opportunity to bring our beloved brands to life.” She also provided an update on the progress of the project, mentioning that construction is already underway and significant progress has been made to create a thrilling and nostalgic experience for fans of all ages.
