As promised, Devolver Digital live-streamed their Devolver Delayed showcase today. In typical Devolver fashion, the showcase lasted a remarkable three minutes, transforming a negative announcement into a celebration of the games that are yet to be played.
The video exuded a Nintendo Direct vibe, featuring a vibrant red and white color scheme. The spirited narrators in the background maintained an upbeat tone as they presented each title individually, staying true to Devolver Digital’s trademark style.

Five Upcoming Devolver Digital Games Delayed until 2024
A total of five games have been postponed to next year. The most notable delay is affecting the action-adventure title The Plucky Squire. As humorously highlighted in the video, this 2D/3D adventure game seems to have forgotten about the fourth dimension: time.
Stick it to the Stickman, Anger Foot, Skate Story, and Pepper Grinder will also be released in 2024.
This year has already seen some major releases, with several more planned to close out the final months of 2024. Given the crowded release schedule, a slight delay might be worth considering. However, Devolver Digital emphasizes that these titles simply require a little extra time.
While these five titles will experience a delay, Devolver concluded the showcase by reminding fans that there are still titles scheduled to launch this year. Gunbrella, Wizard with a Gun, The Talos Principle 2, The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, and Karmazoo are still on track for release in 2023. Additionally, the DLCs for Broforce Forever and McPixel 3 will also be released this year.
Delays are never popular, but Devolver managed to handle them in an entertaining manner. For Devolver fans, there is plenty to look forward to in the future, as the company has some captivating releases lined up for both 2023 and 2024!
