San Diego Comic-Con Devoured by ‘Jurassic Park’ Collectibles

San Diego Comic-Con is quickly approaching, and with it comes a slew of exciting announcements. Leading up to the event, SyFy has exclusively unveiled a special collection of new Jurassic Park Funko collectibles in honor of the film’s 30th anniversary. These collectibles will transport both new and old fans alike back to the thrilling adventure that took place 65 million years ago. The items will be available for purchase at the Funkoville Experience, a booth featuring a wide range of merchandise, starting on July 20.

For avid collectors looking to expand their Jurassic Park memorabilia, Funko will be releasing a set of Loungefly Pop! Pins at SDCC. This set includes a glow-in-the-dark version of Dennis Nedry and a menacing Dilophosaurus, ready to take down the park’s greedy tech programmer. The set also includes a lanyard featuring Dennis Nedry and a Dilophosaurus spinning keychain, all priced at $40. But that’s not all! The Funko booth will also introduce a Blockbuster Rewind edition of Ian Malcolm, housed in a retro Jurassic Park VHS case, retailing for $12. With a hint of luck, one out of every six figures will feature a different variant of Malcolm holding a flair, recreating the iconic showdown with the T. rex.

Of course, nothing quite compares to a classic Funko Pop! figure, and SDCC will feature an exclusive hatching raptor figure. This highly-detailed sculpt captures the iconic scene from the film, showcasing a baby Velociraptor emerging from its eggshell, covered in goo. This Pop! figure will only be available for a limited time at both SDCC and select Target stores, priced at $15. Additionally, fans can grab a neon-colored glow-in-the-dark backpack, adorned with the franchise’s logo in vibrant, eye-catching colors, for $90.

Furthermore, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Jurassic Park, there are even more Funko Pops to collect, including the highly-anticipated Brachiosaurus, a T. rex figure, and new LEGO sets, along with a collector’s edition 4K Blu-ray. These collectibles will allow fans to continue celebrating the enduring legacy of the franchise.

Don’t miss your chance to get your hands on Funko’s newest collectibles at SDCC on July 20. See the official images of these captivating figures above and watch our exclusive interview with Laura Dern below.
