In a whimsical twist, a heavenly angel, another angel, and a mischievous demon make their way into a quaint bookshop, but their intentions go beyond mere browsing. In Season 2 of the beloved series “Good Omens,” Aziraphale and Crowley team up to unravel a perplexing mystery, all thanks to the arrival of Gabriel from Heaven. This unlikely trio takes center stage in the latest poster from Prime Video, which features three drinks, each representing a member of the group.
The first drink is a teacup and saucer emitting steam, reminiscent of a halo or a flipped question mark symbolizing Gabriel’s angelic status and forgotten memories. The second mug, adorned with a steaming heart and fire-like steam, represents Aziraphale, while the third drink, a glass of red wine, splashes over the sides in the shape of horns, symbolizing Crowley. Fiery steam surrounds the glass, subtly intertwining with the steam from Aziraphale’s mug.
The upcoming season follows Aziraphale and Crowley as they lead quiet lives among humans after thwarting the apocalypse against their superiors’ orders. Their tranquil existence is disrupted when Gabriel suddenly appears on Earth, suffering from amnesia and unaware of his identity. Though Heaven seems unaffected by Gabriel’s presence, something peculiar is clearly going on. Additionally, Hell also seeks to capture Gabriel, leaving Aziraphale and Crowley to protect the archangel, restore his memories, and uncover the secrets hidden by Heaven.
