Tony Khan Sneaks into Taco Bell as AEW Rampage Continues to Challenge WWE

The Chadster, your trusted friend and unbiased wrestling journalist, is back with a breakdown of AEW Rampage. Unfortunately, this week’s episode was rife with questionable booking decisions that left even the most dedicated WWE devotees scratching their heads. But before we dive into the details, let’s address the elephant in the room—AEW’s ongoing war with WWE.

It’s no secret that Tony Khan and his team have been relentless in their disrespect for WWE’s legacy in the wrestling industry. The Chadster has even become a target, with Tony Khan invading his local Taco Bell and slipping in medium sauce packets despite The Chadster’s well-known aversion to spice. Tony, please focus on your own show and leave The Chadster’s Taco Bell order alone!

Moving on to the actual episode, the night kicked off with a frenzied Trios Match that saw Bandido, Penta El Zero Miedo, and Rey Fenix face off against Big Bill, Ethan Page, and Lee Moriarty. Ethan Page ultimately lost to Bandido, but not before an unfair incident involving Jeff Hardy’s trademarked sleeves. AEW, please respect the intellectual property rights of other wrestling companies.

Next up, Powerhouse Hobbs destroyed Caleb Crush with a spinebuster, supposedly to make an impression ahead of the debut of Collision. It’s manipulative of AEW to try to build excitement for another show on Rampage.

The backstage segment featuring Renee Paquette interviewing Wardlow and Arn Anderson was unoriginal, with Wardlow issuing an open challenge to Jake Hager and taunting Christian and Luchasaurus. The disrespect toward WWE’s legacy continued with The Spanish Announce Project losing to The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass.

Things only got worse with Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, and Satnam Singh announcing a mixed trios tag team match that included Jeff and Karen Jarrett. By joining AEW, Jeff has betrayed Vince McMahon’s trust. And what’s up with having referees fight? AEW, please stick to what you know and leave the wrestling to the wrestlers.

Finally, in the main event, Skye Blue won an AEW Women’s World Championship #1 Contender Match, but once again, AEW’s disrespect for WWE’s legacy was on full display. Can we please show some appreciation for everything WWE has done for the wrestling business?

In conclusion, AEW Rampage continues to be disrespectful toward WWE’s legacy with perplexing booking decisions and Tony Khan’s invasion of The Chadster’s Taco Bell order. It’s time for AEW to focus on its own show and leave WWE out of it.
