Details of the Google Pixel Tablet have leaked online ahead of its expected launch at Google I/O 2023. The device was previewed at last year’s I/O event alongside the Pixel 7 series. Google is rumoured to launch the new Pixel Tablet in the US and other markets, possibly at its annual developer conference on May 10. While Google is set to announce the device’s key specifications and features at the event, a retailer may have inadvertently revealed some information ahead of time.
The Pixel Tablet was spotted on Amazon Japan by Reddit user @betterpasta, who noted several images and the alleged price of JPY 79,800 (roughly Rs 48,400) for the 8GB + 128GB storage option. The listing also confirmed that the Google Pixel Tablet will be available in Hazel and Porcelain colour options.
WinFuture leaked additional details before the Amazon Japan listing was removed. According to the site, the Google Pixel Tablet will feature a 10.95-inch LCD with a 2,560×1,600-pixel resolution and 500 nits of brightness. It will also have a Tensor G2 SoC, 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The Pixel Tablet will also come with front and rear 8-megapixel cameras, quad speakers, support for Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and ultra-wideband, as well as a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port and pogo pins on the back to connect to a dock.
The Pixel Tablet is expected to have a 27WHr battery that can last up to 12 hours, as per the listing on Amazon Japan.
