Shadow Mewtwo has made its way back to Pokemon GO as part of the ongoing World of Wonders: Taken Over limited time event. Besides fights with Shadow Mewtwo, this new Pokemon GO event also includes a Special Research story all about saving Shadow Groudon. The ultimate reward for completing the “It’s a Rocket World” Special Research is a Super Rocket Radar, and if players use it by March 31 at 11:59pm local time, they have the chace to fight Giovanni and earn an encounter with Shadow Groudon.

Once the World of Wonders: Taken Over event runs its course, Shadow Raikou is expected to return to Pokemon GO five-star Shadow Raids.
