Epic Games Store Might Come to Android and iOS

After taking the PC gaming by storm, Epic Games is planning to bring its Epic Games Store to the mobile platform. This is what Epic Games’ CEO revealed its plan during an interview with GameSpot.

During the interview, he said that the company is planning to its PC game distribution platform – Epic Games Store to Android and iOS in the coming future.

“We think it’s a good way to help the industry [move] forward and it’s another way where Epic as a game developer had built up this audience around Fortnite and learned how to operate a distribution platform on PC and Android,” he said.

Well, if this is going to be true in the coming months, it will be interesting to see how Epic Games launches its Store on Android as the company has hardly made its Fortnite available on Google Play Store due to the 30% cut which is charged by Google to provide maintenance and platform.

It must be noted that the company already has an app called Epic Games app which was the main source to download and install Fortnite on Android before it made available on Play Store. So, there is a high possibility that the company will convert the existing app into a full-fledged game store and launch it on Android.
