Apple is preparing for the launch of its upcoming new generation iPhones for this current year. The new iPhones could be launched in the coming September month during the company’s Annual Developers Conference. Before the launch of this year’s iPhones, we have got a report that is all about the 2020 iPhones.

According to a renowned tipster, Apple may get 12Hz displays for the upcoming iPhones for the year 2020. The company is in talks with Samsung and LG to manufacture 120Hz displays.

Ice Universe, a renowned tipster has shared all the details about the 2020 iPhones. He took to Twitter to share this information which suggests that the new iPhones will be using 120Hz displays. Apple is considering a switchable 60Hz/ 120Hz refresh screen rate for the 2020 iPhones.

Samsung and LG have supplied OLED screens for iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. And Apple is now in talks with the same giants for their future iPhones.

The company might introduce its new ProMotion technology on the 2020 iPhones. This technology refreshes screen scale rates automatically when needed. The company had already showcased this ProMotion technology in the last years iPad Pro models. Both the iPad Pro models come with this ProMotion Technology.

Apple’s iPad Pro comes with LCD displays and ProMotion Technology is yet to be tested on the OLED screens. First, Apple has to clear the testing of its ProMotion Technology on the OLED devices and then they can start using the 120Hz displays on their devices.

As of now, Apple is busy with this year’s iPhones. The company is planning to launch three new iPhones this year i.e. the iPhone 11 and its variants. Apple to introduce these new iPhones in the coming September month as mentioned above. So yes, we will have to wait for a few more months to hear from Apple about the new 120Hz displays and of course, the new 2020 iPhones.

It is still not clear whether the company will introduce the same displays on its future iPads and other devices.
